I’m Yuqing Jiao, an independent technical advisor specialising in photonic integrated circuits, heterogeneous integration, and semiconductor technology strategy. I undertake selected advisory engagements through ChipLight Advisory.

I support deep-tech companies and research organisations in assessing technical feasibility, defining development pathways, and making informed decisions on prototyping, foundry strategy, and commercialisation.

I am also an Associate Professor of Heterogeneous Photonics Integration at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). My advisory activities are conducted independently of my university role.
